Are opioids overrated for back pain?

Why pain patients aren't given opioids any more: ***n doctor conflates illicit opioid epidemic with prescription meds. I'm furious. This is wrong. I've been a back patient - still am periodically - and opioids work. OTC meds are more dangerous, causing heart, kidney, and liver problems - even digestive problems like ulcers and diverticulitis. Something about that study stinks to high heaven.

There IS  something wrong with that study. They're giving Naloxone, a drug to treat overdoses, with Oxycodone. The Naloxone blocks the receptors for Oxycodone. I've heard this combination of drug is never given for treating acute pain, so the study is worthless. This one of the worst #DesignedToFail studies ever done. Think about how they did "designed to fail" trials with HCQ and Ivermectin. That's where this study ranks as well. This study is illegitimate.
