Yes, yes, I believe they would. It could have been helping from the start but the trials they did were designed to fail - it was given w/o zinc; patients were overdosed on it; it was given too late. But a retroactive study showed it kept 84% of high risk patients out of the hospital and those that were hospitalized didn't need vents.
