This insanity has got to stop. Unrelieved severe pain causes brain damage. It can also cause an injury to heal more slowly, cause permanent pain "memory" in the injured limb. It's sheer madness. If they're not going to provide pain relievers, then at least give an anesthetic strong enough so the patient can sleep. Tylenol does nothing for this kind of injury - and if you try to take enough under the impression that it does help, you'll end up dying of Tylenol poisoning before you get any relief. Tylenol is a fever reducer, not a pain reliever for severe pain.
